Our solution is a replacement for the factory clip that holds the lock in the door.

Shown to the left is our Security Clip for the rear door.

This clip replaces the factory spring clip, providing a much stronger method of holding the lock in the door.

The Security Clip is held in place using 3 set screws rather than just spring tension. Plus, we use heavy gage steel to make the clip so it has the strength needed to prevent thieves from getting the lock to move.

Notice the right end of the gray Security Clip extends past the outside edge of the license plate frame. This blocks the thief from prying in along that edge of the frame to get at the lock pawl and rod.

If you have a 1997-2014 Ford E-Series Van, use the following part numbers:
